PART 3: THE IMPLOSION

An hour later, a sleek black car dispatched by Martha picked me up from the roadside and drove me directly to the county courthouse.

By the time my son and daughter pulled back into the driveway of the family house, feeling victorious and unburdened, the security team was already waiting.

My son tried to scan his keycard at the front gate, but the red light flashed repeatedly and a loud alarm echoed across the manicured lawn.

He pulled out his phone to call the corporate bank, only to find his cards declined and his executive access completely terminated.

My daughter panicked, staring at her phone screen as her personal credit lines collapsed one by one under the sudden asset freeze.

A senior sheriff’s deputy stepped out from the security booth, holding a freshly issued emergency restraining order and eviction notice.

“Mr. Vance, Miss Vance, you are required to step away from the premises immediately,” the officer stated firmly, gesturing to the road.

Before my son could yell or protest, my black sedan pulled smoothly up to the front entrance, and the heavy iron gates swung open for me alone.
