PART 2: The Album in the DMs

PART 5: The Final Resolution

The color completely drained from Tyler’s face as Maya stared from him to me, her eyes taking in my framed apartment keys and the intimate atmosphere of the room.

“Tyler?” Maya whispered, her voice cracking. “What is this?”

Without saying a word, I handed Maya the printed album Jenna had sent me, along with four years of lease agreements, travel itineraries, and text messages proving Tyler had maintained a second home with me.

The confrontation was swift. Tyler tried to stammer out excuses, but the overwhelming evidence left him defenseless. Maya packed her things and left him that very night, initiating divorce proceedings that stripped him of his shared assets.

I ended our relationship on the spot, kicking him out of my apartment and blocking every line of communication.

Two weeks later, I posted my very first photo online in four years—a bright, clear selfie of me smiling on my balcony, completely free from the shadow of a liar.
