Part 3: 4 Key Steps to Make an Inside-Out Egg at Home
- Tape the Shell Securely: Wrap the raw egg completely in clear packing tape to reinforce the shell so it doesn’t crack under high rotational pressure.
- Construct the Spinner: Place the taped egg into the sleeve of a long-sleeved shirt or pantyhose, tying tight knots on both sides of the egg to lock it in place.
- Spin Rapidly: Hold both ends of the sleeve and swing the egg in fast, continuous circles for 2 to 3 minutes, then pull the ends tight to make it spin like a top.
- Boil Immediately: Carefully place the spun egg into boiling water for 10–12 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath before peeling.
