PART 3: THE EVICTION NOTICE

“You have twenty-four hours to vacate the premises,” my attorney announced through the speaker, his tone completely unyielding.

Daniel slammed his hand onto the table, shouting into the phone that he was the head of the household and would not be thrown out of his own home.

“You are not the owner, Daniel,” the lawyer clarified calmly. “You were a guest residing on a property held exclusively in your wife’s name.”

Margaret grabbed the phone, her voice shrill with desperation as she tried to claim that her son’s family had built the legacy of the estate.

The legal reality was undeniable: the monthly allowances, the luxury vehicles, and the maintenance of the mansion had all been funded by my trust fund.

I had allowed Daniel to present himself as the owner out of love and respect, hoping to protect his pride, but that courtesy ended the moment he degraded me in front of our child.

Process servers were already arriving at the security gates, carrying formal eviction papers for every single member of the Hawthorne family living on the property.
