Once the 5 minutes are up, turn off the fan, unplug it again, and carefully slide the plastic bag off. You will see a pool of dirty liquid and trapped dust clumps settled at the bottom of the bag.

To finish up, use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe down the outer cage and plastic base. Let the fan air-dry in a well-ventilated area for ten minutes before regular use to ensure no dampness remains near the motor.
