Part 4: How to Prepare and Use Cloves at Home
You don’t need a secret “recipe” or special comment code to use cloves safely in your routine:
- Select 1 or 2 Cloves: Take one or two high-quality, whole dried cloves and place them on your tongue or near the troublesome area.
- Gently Crack the Outer Shell: Bite down softly just enough to break the outer shell and release the essential oils without crushing the clove into small, swallowing-hazard pieces.
- Hold in Place: Allow the clove to sit against the affected tooth or gum for 10 to 15 minutes as the eugenol numbs the region.
- Spit and Rinse: Spit out the remnant clove material and rinse your mouth with warm water.
