My name is Arjun Mehra. I’m 20 and a second-year student at a respected university in New Delhi.
My life changed when I met Kavita Rao, a wealthy 60-year-old retired restaurant owner from Mumbai. We met at a charity event in Gurugram.
Kavita was striking. Silver hair. Sharp but kind eyes. A confident walk that drew my attention instantly.
Later, she invited me for tea at her mansion in South Delhi. We talked for hours.
I was moved by her story — a woman with power, wealth, and fame who was still alone. She had no children, and her marriage had ended quietly.
Somewhere along the way, I fell in love. Not because of money. Because of the way she understood pain.

The news spread quickly. My family was furious. My father slammed his hand on the table. “She’s as old as your mother!”
My mother cried. Friends mocked me. But I didn’t care.
I left home and handled the wedding myself. The ceremony took place at Kavita’s villa with only a few businessman friends attending. I was the youngest guest there.
On our wedding night, my heart raced. The room glowed with scented candles. Kavita stepped out wearing a white silk nightgown and sat beside me.
Then she handed me a file, several land certificates, and keys to a silver Rolls-Royce Phantom. I was stunned.
“What are you doing? I don’t want these.”
She smiled faintly. “Arjun, you deserve the truth. I didn’t marry you because I was lonely. I married you because I need an heir.”
My blood ran cold. “Heir? What do you mean?”
“I have no children. More than 20 billion rupees will eventually go to relatives waiting for my death. I want it to be yours. But…”
She paused. “There is one condition.”
The room felt heavy. I swallowed hard. “What condition?”
She stared into my eyes and replied…
